So here is the set from The Playground.  Again we were 5 min over so I have to get better at approx the time of these scenes.  Since we had to flip the RO last min it is looser than we planned.  Here is what we learned from this set.  Downton Abbey is working and is basically show ready.  Attic, Spanx, and Future Me are cut.  Attic cause it isn’t working, Future Me cause it is not as strong as the other K & C scene and they won’t have two two person them scenes in the show so they picked Gym as the one they want to work on.  And Spanx is sort of working but will take some work to figure out and we decided we have other stuff we are more excited to work on.  Notice how I said WE, I asked the cast what they wanted to do.  At this point I want to know what they want to work on, my ax may have to come later but for now we are still early enough that the cast can pick and choose what they are excited about.

This is why it’s great to have a ton of material. Jess is sick, she is going to the doctor. So I have to flip the RO for tonight. And you know what…we still have 25 min of stuff. We have new stuff and re pitches. It feels good that she doesn’t have to push herself and the show is fine.
